DAW NASUSUNOG: Philippine Folk Song from Eastern Visayas

Ha ha ha ha, the music that reminded me of my native origin in Samar, and I am very proud to be a pure "waray" the memory of my childhood in Barrio Arawane in Samar, a small island located in western Philippines, the beauty of its sorrounding still pristine and quite. And the main source of livelihood are fishing and coconut farming. It happens that after more than 20 years I set my foot again onto the shore of my home province and nothing changes I noticed except a slight improvement of its housing structures that I vividly remember then that all was made of "pawid" roofings and wallings. My childhood memory then when I was in Arawane was a memorable one in my life.
When I had done some naughty things early in my childhood barely 5 years of age, my mother was chasing me with a bamboo stick. My small foot will beat the olympic track and field player during that time, and I ran and seek refuge with my Uncle junior's house, and he's a willing principal to help me in hiding by placing me inside of their empty big Jar that was used to stock drinking water. And behold, he he he he he I am safe from my mothers burning eyes. Thank you tiyo Dungkoy! Until this day we had a constant contact with my tyo Dungkoy talking things under the guava tree enjoying some cases of beer.
